What is Haywood Haven?

Haywood Haven is a hybrid education program partnering with families to provide educational and extracurricular opportunities for children while deepening their knowledge of and love for God. Our classes are offered Monday through Thursday 8:30-3:00. Parents are empowered to build their students’ schedules by choosing classes they need.

What are the fees associated with Haywood Haven?

Haywood Haven offers core and extracurricular classes. There is a yearly registration fee of $150 per family. Classes are priced individually. To see the specifics, visit the 2024-25 classes page.

When is the first day of school?

Our first day is September 10th.

What is the security like on campus?

Haywood Haven is a secure campus. Details are available to interested and registered parents. 

What are the qualifications of your teachers?

All of our teachers have expertise in the areas they teach and experience managing group dynamics with children. All of them have a minimum of a high school degree. Many have specialized degrees in their subjects.

Who can attend Haywood Haven?

Haywood Haven is for homeschooling families who are discipling their children in Christianity. Our  community is Christ-centered and is anchored in providing educational and spiritual guidance to our students. Each family must complete a membership application and family interview.

Is this a drop-off program or do parents stay on campus?

Haywood Haven is a drop-off program. There are lots of volunteer opportunities for parents once a family becomes a member.
