What makes Haywood Haven’s customizable Christian education special?
Mastery is the Goal
Haywood Haven is not an input-output program meaning we do not focus on test results. Our teachers are guides and our students are active, not passive. We believe mastery is reached when students are provided instructions, given the chance to apply a skill, and then experience the skill from all angles (enrichment).
Build Your Schedule
Based on our formula for mastery, we offer enrichment classes on Monday, instruction on Tuesday & Thursday, and application on Wednesday. We empower parents to choose build their student’s schedule. Choose a single class, full days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, Wednesday) or pick a variety of options from different days.
Purposeful Education
Ultimately, education should point our children to God and equip them to live their unique purpose. Everything we do at Haywood Haven is laser focused on helping your children see themselves through God’s eyes. The world needs the brilliant, vibrant, singular impact only they can have!
We focus on mastery of skills using this formula:

Our Learning Levels
Exploration (5-11 years)
Our elementary classes focus on harnassing the power of curiosity and providing ample space and time for discovery. Students are introduced to the core foundational skills and given chances to work through the process of mastery at their own pace and comfort.
Investigation (11-15 years)
Students in this age group love one word above all others: why? At this stage, students are not content to just know things. They want to understand them. We love this about these kids and do everything we can to support their need to own their education!
Navigation (15-19 years)
Our final level of education focuses on helping students orient their lives to True North (God) and take ownership of their path. They begin to take steps to pursue God’s purpose for their lives. We offer dual enrollment classes for college credit alongside practical skill development (graphic design, public speaking, cooking, etc.)

- Choose between Monday, Tuesday and Thursday OR Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
2 Days
- Choose between Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday
1 Day
- Choose either Monday or Wednesday classes (8:30-3:00)
