Thank you for your interest in teaching at Haywood Haven. We are a community of experienced educators partnering with parents to help their students gain knowledge and seek God’s “good, pleasing and perfect will” for their lives (Romans 12:2). Teachers are not required to be certified or to have a teaching degree. However, we do expect all educators to have expertise in the subject they wish to teach and a level of experience managing children in a group dynamic. A minimum of a high school diploma is required. Individual teachers are responsible for class planning based on the curriculum we select, managing discipline, communicating assignments and issues with the family, and providing an environment where students can grow and succeed.
